Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern & Charts
A cuddly warm blanket with sheep to count and a quick prayer, toddler’s nap blanket, for the tiny people in your life who love cozy.

There is one design chart included in this pattern PDF with the grid squares marked with an X, it can be enlarged for easier viewing. An Excel chart is also provided if you prefer to use it, The charts are the same on the pdf and excel. You can follow the grid chart and/or written instructions or use both.
The Overlay Mosaic Crochet Technique is used for this pattern. It is a pretty easy stitch sequence to learn, but if you have never done it before, I would suggest you watch a couple of videos to get a better understanding of how it works. For someone who knows how to do Overlay Mosaic Crochet, they will have no problems at all following this pattern and / or using the charts provided.
There is a chart in the PDF Pattern, and there is also a Excel chart if you would prefer. They are both the exact same style. There is also a row by row fully written pattern if you would prefer to use that too.
Finished Blanket Size: Approximately 44"x 49"
The Overlay Mosaic Crochet chart has 195 columns and 221 rows.
Supplies Needed:
Size H (G mm) Crochet Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn Size 3 medium, or you can use a size 4 medium yarn with a I Hook, it will make the blanket heavier and a few inches larger.
Color A: Background colors - White or Gray depending on which part of the blanket section you are working on. Or… your favorite color.
Color B: Design colors - Turquoise, White, depending on which part of the blanket section you are working on - 2 turquoise, 2 dark gray, and 3 white
Or you can make the blanket in two colors only... I used 1.5 skeins each of Lavender and White Bernat Baby Sport (size 3) in the lavender/white blanket photo.
Border Yarn: Any of the colors you use in the pattern.
