Snuggly Blanket Wrap
Overlay Mosaic Crochet Chart Pattern
Written using US crochet terms - This is a Chart Only Pattern.
This warm Snuggly Blanket Wrap is perfect for wearing while wandering around on a chilly morning with a cup of tea or coffee. It would make the perfect gift for that person in your life who loves warm.
The pattern comes with:
1 design chart divided into 20 pages making it easy to see and follow. It is a grid chart using overlay mosaic crochet X squares.
A Photo tutorial on the Negative/Reverse Stitch - if you want the same design on the back as the front.
Instructions on how to add an extra color.
Border suggestions.
Simple chart instructions.
Row by Row written for the first 12 rows to help show how simple the chart is to use.
This Pattern uses the Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique. It is a series of double crochet, single crochet back loop, and single crochet both loops, it is basic and easy to learn by watching a video on how to overlay mosaic crochet.
I would say the difficulty level is intermediate because the pattern does have a opening although it is done in such a way that it is easy to understand.
This is a chart pattern only, it only has the first 12 rows written out to help with how to follow the chart. The chart is the usual x grid marks for overlay mosaic.
Size: 47” wide by 72” length each front panel is 20” and the back neck 7”
Chart Size: 200 columns, and 303 rows
Size G Crochet Hook
Yarn Worsted Weight (Size 3) - DK would work
Color A: 2,700 yards
Color B: 2,900 yards
Border: Any of the colors used.
The chart is also colored in to make colorful stripes if you would like, or you can use the two colors as pictured (the brown yarn is variegated browns)
The chart is also done in a variety of colors which can be changed to any colors you would like, but you would need at least 2 full skeins per color - there are 16 - or up to 22 different colors, as the design calls for two shades per color.
You can make and sell anything you finish from this pattern.
