Due to the fact that there is a wire frame inside the toy, the monkey can take any poses.

Measure the length of the finished part (from the 1st to the 48th Rnd). Prepare 3 pieces of wire, each 3 times the length obtained. My part is 10 cm long, I cut 3 pieces of wire of 30 cm each.
Connect them, as in the photo, fix them in the middle with a plaster. Note that the middle piece of wire on top is shorter (this part is for the neck), the lower one is longer (this part is for the tail).
Insert the frame into the holes for the arms, legs, tail. Add some hollow fibre.
Continue crocheting
Rnd 49. (3 sc, dec)*6 times = 24

Rnd 51. (1 sc, dec)*6 times = 12
Add some hollow fibre.

Pull off the loops. Cut the thread, hide the end.

Cut off yarn, leave a tail for sewing.
Upper part of the muzzle
Start with light brown colour yarn. Crochet in rows
Row 1. 8 sc in a Magic Ring, 1 ch, turn (8)
Row 2. (1sc, inc)*4 times, 1 ch, turn = 12
Row 3. (2 sc, inc)*4 times, 1 ch, turn = 16

Row 6. 20 sc, 1 ch, turn = 20
Row 7. (2 sc, dec) *4 times = 16
Cut off yarn, leave a tail for sewing. Add some hollow fibre.
Arms (make 2)
Start with brown colour yarn
Rnd 1. 6 sc in a Magic Ring – do not tighten the loops, there should be a hole through which the wire will be inserted.
Rnd 2-30. 6 sc
Change to light brown yarn
Rnd 31. (1 sc, inc)*3 times = 9
Rnd 32-33. 9 sc
Rnd 34. inc, 3 sc, inc, 4 sc = 11
Rnd 35. 11 sc
Rnd 36. 9 sc, dec = 10
Do not cut the thread.
Dress the arm on the wire. Make a loop on the end of the wire. Cut off the excess wire. Sew on the arm.
Crocheting fingers:
Rnd 37. Fold the arm in half and crochet, hooking through both edges of the part: 1 sc, *4 ch, starting from 2nd ch from hook: 3 sl st, further along the loops of the palm: 1 sl st*. Repeat from *to* three more times.
Bind off. Cut the thread, leaving approx. 20 cm long end.
Pull the thread with a hook 3 rows below (point A in the photo) and crochet a thumb: work 3 ch, from 2nd ch from hook: 2 sl st.
Bind off, cut off any excess yarn.
The second arm is crocheted identically.
Legs (make 2)
Work with brown colour yarn.
Rnd 1. 6 sc in a Magic Ring - do not tighten the loops, there should be a hole through which the wire will be inserted.
Rnd 2-15. 6 sc
Cut off yarn, leave a tail for sewing.
Dress the legs on the wires. Sew on the legs.
Foot (make 2)
Work with light brown colour yarn.
Rnd 1. 6 sc in a Magic Ring
Rnd 2. (1 sc, inc)*3 times = 9
Rnd 3. 3 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 loop, 4 sc = 9 (this is a wire hole)

Make sure the marker is on the rib, make a shift stitch if required.
Do not cut the thread.
Attach the foot to the leg (insert the wire through the hole). Sew the foot. Make a loop on the end of the wire. Cut off the excess wire.
Add some hollow fibre.
Crochet fingers
Rnd 11. Fold the foot in half and crochet, hooking through both edges of the part: 1 sc, *work 3 ch, starting from 2nd ch from hook: 2 sl st, further along the loops of the foot: 1 sl st.
Tail
Work with brown colour yarn.
Rnd 1. 6 sc in a Magic Ring
Rnd 2-40. 6 sc
Cut off yarn, leave a tail for sewing.
Insert the wire frame into the tail. Sew on the tail.

Nose
Work with light brown colour yarn.
Row 1. Work 3 ch, in 3rd ch from hook: Puff stitch. To crochet a puff stitch, you half-close four (or five) double crochets worked in the same stitch and then join them together to finish the stitch.
Assembly and Decoration
- Attach the upper part of the muzzle to the head, make sure its lower part is in line with Rnd 11. Sew it on with hidden stitches and stuff a little as you go. (see the pictures for guidance)
- Attach the muzzle to the head. Sew it on with hidden stitches.
- Sew on the ears.
- Sew on the eyes. Sew the pupils – black beads.
- Sew on the nose.
- Embroider a smile.
Navel sculpting (optional). To sculpt the navel: take some strong sewing thread and fasten under the tail, take the needle in the navel area. Make a tiny stitch. Insert the needle back in point under the tail. Tighten the thread, help with the fingers to keep it in place. Make a short stitch and a knot. Repeat the tightening once more. Bind off, cut off any excess yarn.
The monkey is completed.
