Repeat Row 2 ca 34 cm.
All around the bottom crochet 1 Rnd in sc´s.
STRAP
Row 1: ch7, dc in the 4th st from hook and each of next 3 sts, turn.
Row 2: (working in the back loop) ch3, dc in each of next 4 sts, turn.
Repeat Row 2 as many times as you wish to achieve preferred strap length. The strap on my bag is 80 cm long
MUZZLE
Rnd 1: 12 dc in a magic ring.
Rnd 2: ch3, dc in the same st as ch, 2 dc in each of next 11 st, sl st to top of ch 3 (24 stitches).
Rnd 3: ch 3, dc in the same st as ch, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st*, repeat from*to* till the end of Rnd, sl st to top of ch 3 (36 stitches).
Rnd 4: dc in each of next 36 sts.
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
SPOUT
Can be embroidered or crocheted.
Row 1: ch4, 3 dc in the 4th chain from hook, turn.
Row 2: ch3 and 1 dc in the same st, dc in ech of next 2 sts, 2 dc in the last st, turn.
Row 3: ch3 and 1 dc in the same st, dc in ech of next 4 sts, 2 dc in the last st, turn.
All around the spuot crochet 1 Rnd in sc´s.
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
EAR (2x)
Rnd 1: 12 dc in a magic ring.
Rnd 2: ch3, dc in the same st as ch, 2 dc in each of next 11 st, sl st to top of ch 3 (24 stitches).
Rnd 3-4: dc in each of next 12 stitches.
Rnd 5: *dec, dc in each of next 8 sts, dec* twice
The ear will curve around so it looks more three dimensional. Flatten the ear.
Bind off and leave a long tail.
ASSEMBLY
Seam both sides with the bottom of the bag.
Sew ears on the bag. Use pins to keep it in place. Attach it with the long tail.
Attach eyes. Sew on muzzle (stuff slightly before fully sewing shut) and spout.
Embroider eyebrows.
Sew handle to the purse.
Sew button on and weave in all ends.
