The Pattern is written in US terms:
St: Stitch
Ch: Chain
Slst: Slipstitch
Sc: Single crochet
Hdc: half double crochet
Dc: double crochet
Ch sp: chain space
Bl: Block
Sp: Space
Pattern Information:
- The beginning chains always count as the first stitch
- Double crochets are either worked as one double crochet into each stitch of the previous row, or two double crochets are worked into the chain spaces of the previous row.
- When working chains, always skip two stitches from the previous row. This will not be repeated in the row instructions.
- Make sure not to crochet the chains too tightly, as this will distort the pattern.
Variations:
- This pattern can be repeated after the 20th row as many times as you like to create a long table runner. Be sure to adjust the material accordingly, depending on how many repetitions you want to make.
- You can also crochet multiple patches and sew them together at the end to create a large blanket.
- The decoration can also be easily sewn onto a wooden stick to use as a wall hanger.
