MATERIALS AND TOOLS
• Any yarn in skin and brown colors. I used “Jeans” by YARNART (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 160m/50g).
• Brown fluffy yarn (see Gauge section to see if you choose the right yarn).
• Matching crochet hook (I used 1.75 mm – approximately US 4, UK 2);
• Two black beads or half beads for the eyes (I used 5-6 mm in diameter) for the eyes of the doll. Alternatively you can embroider or crochet them instead – in which case you will need a small amount of black color yarn.
• Any stuffing;
• Tapestry needle;
• Single core copper electrical wire – I used approximately 50 cm (16.7 inches) of wire 1.5 mm in diameter;
• Fabric tape 1 cm wide to work up the wire ends;
• Transparent glue;
• A piece of thick cardboard or plastic for the insoles;
• Red embroidery thread for the mouth;
• Wool for felting or yarn for the hair;
• Sewing pins.
