You don’t have to be an expert to make „Michaela“. It is made out of chains and double crochets.
The great thing about „Michaela“ is that you can wear it over EVERY sleeveless summer dress or shirt. The upper arms are covered but still airy. And exactly that is the reason I created it. Now I am very happy I can wear my sleeveless dresses again!
For my „Michaela“ I used a yarn with 180 m on 50 g of weight and held it DOUBLED.
You can use any kind of yarn with 90 m on 50 g (can be more or less) and a crochet hook 5 mm. (yarn weight 3 or 4, US hook size 6–8)
….a cotton ribbon would also be nice!
You can finish „Michaela" in various ways:
A tailor’s dummy is a big help!
