I think any teapot would look amazing in the Beefeater Tea Cosy.
The Beefeater tea cosy is an older fellow with silver hair. He's wearing the state dress uniform - the posher uniform that the Yeomen wear, so it's obviously a special occasion.
He is wearing a white ruffle collar and a black hat that is embellished with red, with and blue bows. His hat is removable, just for a bit of fun.
With the Beefeater are two ravens, the guardians of the Tower. They add interesting characters to the cosy. Maybe they are feeling peckish and are telling the Ravenmaster it's lunchtime?
The Yeomen tea cosy is a lovely tea cosy to make, and it feels quite patriotic and traditional.
The 7 page knitting pattern contains lots of photos to help and guide you.
The pattern is knitted on two pins and is easy to follow.
The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only; to knit your own Beefeater tea cosy.
The pattern uses the main stitches. There are stripes but no colour work such as intarsia or Fair Isle. The 7 page pattern includes pictures to help you create your tea cosy.
If you do need further help, there is a TeaCosyFolk help group on Facebook where fellow tea cosy knitters can help.
