A crochet pattern for a sling bag that is so simple to make, comfortable to wear, and makes a great fashion-statement addition to your wardrobe. Start at the bottom of the bag and work up, you only need to know a couple of crochet stitches. Complete the bag with an understated edging, add a crocheted button and a flap embellishment to tie it all together.

Materials: Yarn: The bag shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Everyday" (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Premier Yarns. Since gauge is not crucial on this project, you can use almost any worsted weight or size 4 yarn. You will need approximately 500 yards to complete this design.
Tools: Crochet hooks, U.S. sizes G and H.
