This chic little bag consists of thirteen granny squares that are joined together as you crochet. Eight of the squares start with a flower. This pattern is not for the "faint of heart" as it is designed for the experienced crocheter. But this fashion statement is well worth the effort.

Size: Approximately 19" in circumference (or around) and 9 1/2" in depth when measured from button to bottom of bag.

Materials: The bag shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Tatamy Tweed" (a DK or size 3 weight yarn) from Kraemer Yarns. Since gauge is not crucial on this design, you can use almost any sports weight or DK weight yarn that will produce a motif that measures approximately 3 1/2" by 3 1/2". You will need approximately 400 yards for this design.
Tools: Crochet hook, U.S. size F.
