Quick and simple to make in a fabulous sports weight yarn. Start in the center with a starburst, then continue the shaping in double crochet stitches. The beret is shaped for style, comfort and fit for an average adult woman's head. A tie is threaded through an eyelet round to stabalize the beret and for adjusting the fit.

Materials: The beret shown in the photographs is crocheted in "Perfection Sport" (a sports weight or size 2 yarn) from Kraemer Yarns. You can use almost any sports weight yarn that will produce a gauge of 5 sts and 3 rnds in double crochet. Approximately 300 yards will be needed to complete this lovely beret.
Tools: Crochet hook, U.S. size G.
