Guinea Pig Toy Knitting Pattern

The problem is with the Guinea Pig Knitting Pattern, is that when you have knitted a couple, you can't seem to stop and very soon you have dozens of little knitted guinea pigs scamering all over the house, well that's how it was for me.

The Guinea Pig Knitting Pattern is a quick to knit pattern using either Aran yarn or two strands of DK yarn. You could also use fluffy or eyelash yarn to give your guinea pigs they own unique look and feel. Brilliant for stash busting!

The rodents little feet are knitted to look you'd expect a Guinea Pigs feet to look with individual digits. They are knitted as one and attached underneath.

I love the Guinea Pig's floppy ears and they slightly over hand the eye. I have used safety eyes but you could embroider the eyes on if you prefur.

The Guinea Pigs are wonder little knitted gifts for children but they are also loved by Alzheimer patients.

The Guinea Pigs are knitted flat on two needles and are easy to make.

25g Stylecraft Special DK Mocha,

For Short Haired use…
25g Stylecraft Special Aran Copper,

Both versions need…
6g Stylecraft Special DK Toy,
A pair of 18mm Brown Safety Eyes,
2 stitch markers,
Stuffing.
