Who doesn't love a chocolate box style cottage and the Crofters Thatched Cottage Tea Cosy is as charming as any rural idyll cottage.
Crofters cottages are small traditional single storey dwelling for crofters, who were land workers and their families. These little cottages have oodles of country cottage charm.
The roof is thatched and the edges of the roof come right down to rest on the tops of the windows. There is a chimney to an old log fire place where the crofters sit in the evening, and outside each window is a flower filled window box and hollyhocks grow up beside the house.
I thought that a hen clucking around would be a fun addition, and I'm sure the crofters would appreciate a nice fresh egg or two.
The crofters cottage is cute and cosy and perfect to keep the teapot hot.
