Size:
With 3 mm hook and DK Yarn:
Small Heart: Approx. 4 cm
Middle Heart: Approx. 7 cm
Big Heart: Approx. 13 cm
Material:
Crochet hook in 3 mm
DK Yarn for each heart:
Small Heart: Approx. 3 gr
Middle Heart: Approx. 8 gr
big Heart: Approx. 22 gr
Filling (I always keep my cut off threads from all my projects, even the smallest ones and use them as fillers to recycle it)
Sc = Single crochet
Ch = chain
BO = Bobble stitch with 5 DC
Dc = Double crochet
Slst = Slip stitch
You can also use bigger weighted yarn to get even more different sized Hearts or use 2 threads just make sure to adjust the hook size where I would recommend using a 1 mm smaller hook than manufacture recommended. You can work a few and attach them to a thread to get a nice Garland.
The hearts are perfect to use up some left-over yarns, you could also use some left over yarn for the filling.
You can also easily work the hearts in different Colors to get some nice colourful hearts.

Work a second piece like the first one and sew them pieces together.
Lay pieces on to each other with nice side facing outwards, crochet the pieces together with Single Crochet stitches worked in both pieces on the side of the row, 1 sc for each row, and always 1 sc on top in the stitches. Add the filling while crochet around. I don’t sew in the threads I use the threads as an extra filling and with that there is no need to sew in the threads.
