Cross Stitch Pattern "embroidery unites people in friendship", PDF Download

For a meeting of embroidery enthusiasts in September 2023 in Basel
I was asked to design an embroidery pattern to add to the goodie bag.
The brief was: if possible, it should have something to do with embroidery,
Europe and friendship. You can see the result here.

The retreat must have been wonderful. I didn't take part myself.
A participant told me that my saying was exactly right,
what she felt. That a shared passion like embroidery brings creative people
together and connects them.

I have provided color suggestions. As always, you can use other colors.
Make your thing out of my thing!

hand embroidery file for printing,
coloured symbol template
(a color printer is required),
embroidery size 231 x 160 stitches,
yarn suggestion Anchor Sticktwist and DMC, 10 colours,
PDF file for download, file size approx. 0.4MB,
6 A4 pages, (1 cover sheet, 4 pages counted pattern,
1 page symbol template ),
whole cross stitches and backstitches

embroidery size 231 x 160 stitches,
14 stitches per inch, approx 16,5 x 11,5 inches

Materials List

You will need an embroidery needle and scissors and:

• fabric 14 ct
• embroidery floss in 10 colours
  (suggestion Anchor Sticktwist and DMC)
• optional an embroidery hoop
