I really love to knit with fingering and sock yarn, especially items which are not socks. I wanted to use a nice braid in a hat, without seeing it straight on my head at the end. In combination with a nice handdyed yarn and a seed stitch, „Trena“ was born. “Trena” is the catalan word for “braid” and shows my love for the spanish island Ibiza, where people speak a catalan dialect. The pattern is made for advanced beginners, who are not afraid of knitting complex braids. The braids in this patterns are made with an “in-between” purl stitch, to define the different strands of the braid.

3.25mm/U.S. #3 and 2,75mm/ U.S. #2 needles for working small circumferences in the round

Das ging echt ratz Fatz nachzustricken. Den Zopf habe ich dann auch noch für ein Stirnband verwendet. Echt super.

tatsächlich eine "Fummeley"

Die Anleitung ist sehr gut formuliert und durch die Wahl, ob nun die Strickschrift bevorzugt wird oder aber die ausführliche Anleitung, für jeden geeignet. Ich bin anfangs mit den Runden durcheinander gekommen, nachdem ich jedoch aufschrieb, in welcher Runde ich mich gerade befinde, gingen die Maschen rasch von den Nadeln ;) Eine tolle Mütze, die ich sicherlich nochmals stricke!

Ich habe mir die Anleitung gekauft und finde, dass sie gut geschrieben ist. Tolle Anleitung, die fertige Mütze passt wie angegossen. Werde öfter darauf angesprochen.
