KOBRI No 14
A fallow land that nature is slowly reclaiming has inspired me to create this geometric design in beautiful warm earthy colours.
NEW since 28.10.2022 is the stitch by stitch written out instructions in the download.
If you have already knitted at least one piece with a lace pattern without any problems, you will have no difficulties with this shawl.
The instructions consist of charts AND are written out stitch by stitch. So you can decide for yourself what you prefer to knit.
I do NOT recommend this shawl for beginners.
If you keep to the stitch gauge (33 stitches and 48 rows = 10cm) the shawl will be approx 140cm x 110cm.
It is knitted from the wide side to the tip and the pattern and size are therefore not changeable.
You need 7 different colours with the same yarn count. I used hand-dyed wool from Stefiswolle in different compositions. (100g=600lfm).
350m violet
270m dark grey
230m bordeaux
186m petrol
135m hazelnut
126m royal blue
80m mouse grey
If you knit the shawl in one colour, you will need approx. 1400m.
