The Heritage Locomotive Tea Cosy is the perfect way to keep your teapot steaming! And the 7 page knitting pattern will help you to knit your own vintage railway tea cosy.
The old trains of bygone days are so characterful that I wanted to design a steam engine tea cosy that was full of charm and nostalgia.
The steam locomotive is a green engine with a water tank on either side. The train has a chimney funnel and a steam dome, and a small cab. The cab is a pocket, and there is a pattern to knit the Loco Driver in a denim boiler suit. Of course, the train driver could look like someone you know, and you could also knit him a companion to shovel the coal.
The little steam engine has buffers at the front and rear and four wheels and coupling rods.
The Steam Train tea cosy had a lovely tea cosy and great fun to knit and would make a wonderful talking point at any teatime.
The pattern is a 7 page pattern which is easy to follow and has helpful photos to guide you.
The house tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting it very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own Vintage Train tea cosy.
This is an easy to follow 7 page knitting pattern that uses the usual stitches.
