My Herzerl - my first Design out of my Tegernseer Country Collection.
Living in the countryside close to the lakes is my inspiration for young, timeless designs with style.
You can wear it together with traditional costume, country fashion or just with Blue Jeans. My Herzerl captivates with simplicity and the knitted hearts are a real eye catcher.
Play with the colors - I just think about a pink My Herzerl with grey edging - and the size! The pattern is easy to adjust.
And - it is not mandatory to knit a gauge. You know your style of knitting. Just calculate 1 or 2 more balls if needed or wanted.
Happy Knitting

The basic pattern for My Herzerl is Garter Stitch with needle size #4. The lace pattern for the heart is a chart. The edging is a crocheted Picot. None of these techniques are difficult, but you need to pay attention to the chart for the heart. And you can always ask me for advice.
The following basics would be of an advantage
It is a triangular shawl - the long side is 1.60m, the smaler sides are 1.15m each and from the top edge to the tip it is around 80cm.
Yarn I used for my My Herzerl: Lamana Como, 100% Merino Superfine – 8 balls in grey and 1 ball in burgundy (If you want to have it a bit bigger just add another ball of the grey yarn)
Tension: Garter Stitch – 22stitches, 34 rows
(Tension is not that important – your My Herzerl just gets a bit larger or smaller)
Easy to use alternative yarns for this pattern. Just adjust the needle size or size of the scarf.
Needle: #4, U.S. #6
Crochet Hook: #4
