knit Rasta dread socks tam hat pattern, 2 sizes

This knit tam pattern is also called a dreadlocks socks and net tube. It is made for people with longer dreads or locs. This the knit version and knit rather than to croI used a very easy open knit stitch and drawstring for a great fit.

Shown here in the Black Panther colours and a also a natural gradient stripe yarn. You can also use a solid colour.

Black Panther Hat
I used: 1 ball each of Loops & Threads Impeccable in Forest(F), Black (B) and Cherry(C) worsted weight #4 - 258 yds/260 m/127.5 g/4.5 ozs

Knitting Needles & Crochet Hook:

• circular 6.00mm/US10/UK4 (16” length)
• double-pointed 2.75mm/US2/UK12 (7-9”length)
• crochet hook: 4.00mm/US6/G
• 1 stitch marker
