This is Yuki the panda, easy to knit on single point knitting needles, worked flat, back and forth .

Knitting stitches used: stockinette stitch (stocking st.), cast on, cast off/bind off, decrease 2 stitches together, increase (knit front back KFB), garter stitch.

The panda is approx. 16 inches tall (41 cm.), the legs are movable.

-100 grams (3.5 oz) white sport/5 ply (or DK/8ply)
-100 grams (3.5 oz) black acrylic yarn sport/5 ply (or DK/8ply)
-Soft polyester filling for toys or cushions
-Single point knitting needles UK 10/ US 4 (3.5 mm.)
-2 light blue buttons 0.60 inches (1.5 cm) diameter
(or 2 white felt disks)
-2 black buttons 0.39 inches (1.0cm.) diameter (for the eyes)
(or 2 black felt disks)
-2 black buttons 0.70 inches (1.8 cm) diameter (for the legs)
-Tapestry needle
