A walk through a shady beech forest, the ground covered by a carpet of woodruff plants, inspired me to make this shawl. The leaves swayed gently in the wind and a beguiling scent rose.
Fresh green and a plastic liveliness make this flat triangular shawl a very special piece of jewellery in your wardrobe.
As a shoulder scarf with traditional costumes and country fashion or as a neck wrap with a casual jeans jacket. With this scarf you look great at any time.
But beware: The woodruff is not for the faint-hearted!
The instructions consist of charts AND are written out in stitches. So you can decide for yourself what you prefer to work with.
This shawl is NOT for beginners! Please do not buy it if you are inexperienced with lace patterns and cable knitting.
My shawl is approx. 170 x 55cm, it can be enlarged or reduced as desired.
My shawl is approx. 170 x 55cm and I used 5 balls (1050m) of "Seide Vielseitige" colour 913 from Ferner Wolle 60% wool / 20% PA / 20% silk (50g = 210m). Circular knitting needle 60cm 3mm and a cable needle.
