Materials:
Yarn of the same thickness for your choice (acrylic, cotton). Colors: brown, white, red.
I used Alize Cotton Gold yarn, 330 m/100 g. My deer is 7 cm high + horns. The consumption of yarn is small.
- A crochet hook, I have 1,25 mm crochet hook;
- Hollow fibre for stuffing;
- A sewing needle, matching sewing threads;
- For eyes: 2 half-beads, I used 8 mm diam half-beads;
- Transparent glue.
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)
2 inc, 3 inc – 2, 3 increases in sequence
dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)

Head
Work with brown colour yarn.

Nose
Take red yarn a little thinner than the main yarn.

Cut off yarn, leave a tail for further operation.
Ear (make 2)
Start with white colour yarn

1. starting from 2nd ch from hook: 3 sc, 3 sc in the last stitch, continue along the other side of chain: 2 sc, inc = 10
Change to brown yarn
2. inc, 2 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, inc = 15
3. 14 sc, 1 sl st
Cut off yarn, leave a tail for further operation.
Horn (make 2)
Work with brown colour yarn.

Assembly and Decoration
Attach the muzzle to the head. Sew it on with hidden stitches and stuff a little as you go.
Attach the nose. Sew it on with hidden stitches and stuff a little as you go.
Embroider a smile.
Attach the horns to the head. Sew them on. Attach the ears below the horns and sew them on.
Glue the eyes. Embroider the whites of the eyes with white colour yarn. Embroider eyebrows.
Cap
Work with red colour yarn
1. 5 sc in a Magic Ring
2. 1 sc, inc, 3 sc = 6
3. 4 sc, inc, 1 sc = 7
4. 3 sc, inc, 3 sc = 8
5. 7 sc, inc = 9
6. 9 sc
7. 4 sc, inc, 4 sc = 10

Cut off yarn, leave a tail for further operation.
Add some hollow fiber (optional).
Sew on a cap.
From white textured yarn, crochet the edge of the cap.
Work 10 ch, join into a ring with a sl st. Fasten off, cut off.
Put the edge on the cap, fix with a drop of glue.
Sew the loop.
