Single crochet

Slip stitch
MATERIALS AND TOOLS
✓ Yarn – I used approximately 7 skeins of white “Softy” by Alize (100% polyester, 50g/115m).
Tip 1: If you need exactly the same yarn visit this shop
Tip 2: You can use any fluffy yarn (chenille, velour, wool, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. Make sure the yarn you use is soft. If you use the yarn that is too stiff, you will not be able to shape the muzzle nicely.
If you use finer yarn, for example, “Goksim Chenille” by Iplik Tekstil LTD (100% acrylic, 340m/100g), your toy will turn out 30 cm (11.8 inches). In this case you will need approximately 1.5 skein of yarn.
✓ Matching crochet hook. I used 2.5 mm crochet hook.
✓ A pair of ready-made eyes – I used 18-20 mm in diameter. You can use black half beads, beads or buttons instead.
✓ Transparent glue
✓ Stuffing
✓ Fishing line for the whiskers
✓ Any material for tinting (optional) – oil pastels, oil paints, pencils, etc.
✓ Sewing needle and tapestry needle for needle sculpting.
✓ Strong thread for needle sculpting.
✓ A piece of thick wire, a long foam roller, a piece of foam rubber, etc. to insert inside the neck to keep the neck of the toy stable and prevent the head from flopping (optional) – the quantity and the size depends on the size of your toy.
