GIRL ON FIRE is a seamless top-down construction, featuring a beautiful floral lace pattern on the front. First, the upper back is cast on and worked flat. Then, stitches are picked up along both shoulders for the upper front. At the bottom of the armhole, the front and back parts are joined, and the body is worked in the round until the high-low split hem. Stitches are later picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked in the round down to the cuff.
Oversized and boxy fit, with dropped shoulders, skinny sleeves and a boat neck. There is no shaping in this garment, allowing you to focus your attention on the interesting texture and the casual fit.
This sweater has a lot of positive ease built in. This means that the finished garment will be much bigger than your bust measurement.
