MATERIAL
ca 50 gr Schachenmayr Catania 50 g/137 yds, Sport Yarn, 5ply in 4 colours: orange, red, green and turquoise, a bit of white, crochet hook C, polyester fiber fill stuffing, two black beads or little safety eyes.

TIPPS
- Do not join rounds, work in a continuous spiral.

- Hens can be made in any desired colours.
Seamsless way of changing color when working in the round
Pick up the new color at the end of the round: inset your hook into the stitch, yarn over the new color and pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook to complete the stitch.

In orange color
Rnd 1: 6 sc into Magic Ring.
Rnd 2: inc 6 times (12 stitches)
Rnd 3: *sc in next st, inc* (18 stitches).

Rnd 5: *sc in each of next 3 sts, inc* (30 stitches).

Change the color

Rnd 2: inc 6 times (12 stitches).
Rnd 3: *sc in next st, inc* (18 stitches)
Rnd 4-6: sc in each of next 18 sts.
Rnd 7: *dec, sc in next st* (12 sts)
Stuff slightly with fiberfill.
Rnd 8: *dec*, repeat from* until the end of the round.
Cast off leaving a long tail for sewing to the head of the hen.
DOTS
Change the color
12 dc into Magic Ring. Cast off leaving a long tail for sewing to the body of the hen. Crochet as many dots as desired.
ASSEMBLY
Position coxcomb and sew it to the hen´s head.
Using yarn needle sew beak on the hen´s head.
Decide where you will position eyes and sew them to the head of your sweet friend.
Add two black beads to the eyes.
Now sew dots on the body of your hens. Ready!
