The Rhino Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern was inspired by rhinos and th etragedgy that rhinos are in decline.
The main part of the tea cosy is made with a colour change to give the appearance of the dusty ground and the underside of the rhino. His legs and head are knitted separately and sewn on to create this beautiful rhino.
Oh his back is a Cattle Egret, these birds are often seen on rhinos backs. It looks like they are hitching a lift, but they are picking of ticks and catching flies.
This is a lovely tea cosy and the rhino and cattle egret make a great pair to share teatime with and they are fun to knit and add character into.
The Rhino tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
