The Virgin Queen Tea Cosy is a radient tea cosy that is a real show stopper and talking point for any teatime. Elizabeth I was a long-ruling queen of England with flaming red hair, and the palest of completions.
The main part of the dress in knitted in the vintage style tea cosy pattern to give a really billowy look to the skirts of her dress. At the top she has a flounce. From the flounce upwards the knitting has a diamond pattern and where the diamonds cross is a spot.
Her arms have hanging sleeves that hang down as far as her skirts, and her bodice has a ruff and a standing collar.
Her hair is up in a bun and is adorned with flowers and pearls.
