Christmas is coming and I can almost hear the sleighbells withthis wonderful Scandi Christmas Jumper Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern.
Using both Fair Isle and intarsia, the picture on this tea cosy is worked from knitting charts. There is a red rickrack motif and above that is a row of Christmas trees. Further up are leaping reindeers that are stood on their back legs over a Christmas present, and above is a delicate snowflake. Wonderfully Christmassy and the limited colour pallet give the cosy a Scandinavian feel.
To make the cosy look like a jumper the cosy has a turtle neck that rolls down and back onto itself. And the teapot handle and spout stick out like arms.
The tea cosy is all knitted on 4mm needles, so to keep the teapot really hot the tea cosy has a knitted lining.
It's perfect for people who love a Christmas jumper!
The Scandinavian Jumper tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting, very soon!
