The Pufferfish Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern is an exciting knitting pattern to make this adorable tea cosy.
The main part of the cosy is knitted in two colours, Stylecraft Special DK Buttermilk and Dandelion.
What I love about the pufferfish tea cosy is his face. He looks so sweet. I love the big gold glitter eyes and his small mouth that looks as if he could be saying "Oooo", it just makes him so characterful. There is some knitted structural support inside the tea cosy to stop the teapot lid causing a lump in the top of the blowfish's back.
All of the spikes, fins, tail and head are knitted separately and sewn on after. The eyes are lovely big 30mm gold sparkly safety eyes and they really crank up the cuteness factor.
The Pufferfish tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting, very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own Pufferfish tea cosy.
