It was the shape of a hot water bottle that inspired me to make a whale hot water bottle cover. The shape and proportions just reminded me of a whale.
The cover has an envelope style opening so you can easily take the cover off or on the bottle. And at the mouth end of the bottle or the tail of the cover, the cover is open to give easy access to the plug and for filling.
The cover is knitting is Stylecraft Special Aran and the features are knitted in Stylecraft DK and sewn on.
The cover fits a 2 litre hot water bottle that is about 32cm long and 19.5cms hot water bottle.
