KOBRI No 104
This time I have come up with an original hat with a caterpillar pattern that puts you in a good mood as soon as you knit it.
The jumping ribs make it very voluminous and warm.
It is knitted in rounds and it is unisex.
The instructions are written out stitch by stitch and include photos of the individual steps.
I do not recommend it for absolute beginners. You should already have a few finished knitted items in your wardrobe.
You must be able to work with circular needles and double pointed needles and be able to knit and purl stitches together.
The cap is described in one head size and fits from schoolchildren to adults thanks to its elasticity.
The length can be adjusted.
You can use any wool with a yardage of 420m / 100g. I used 1 ball (100g) of “Meilenweit Soja” from Lana Grossa for the blue hat and 2 balls (50g each) of “Vielseitige 210” from Ferner Wolle for the pink hat.
In general, any soft sock wool is suitable. You can manage with 1 ball (100g).
You need 3mm double pointed needles and a 3mm circular needle 40cm long. Also 4 mesh
markers and a blunt sewing needle.
