"Caravansary" is a scarf knitting pattern using fingering weight sock yarn. It is an easy pattern that incorporates ribs and eyelets, suitable for advanced beginners who know how to do knits and purls and want to try their luck on easy lace stitches. Written line-by-line instructions and a chart for the stitch pattern are included. The pattern is easy to adjust in width as well as in length. You can add pattern repeats or leave some away, it is completely up to you. This is a unisex scarf that can be worn by women or men.
The sample shown in the pictures was made out of Lana Grossa Meilenweit Tweed in beige and Lana Grossa Meilenweit Special in blue. Both qre quite commonly used sock yarns here in my part of the world, nothing fancy. Similar yarns are certainly available all around the world. Also other yarn weights will work for the pattern. I can very well imagine the scarf worked in a sport weight or dk weight yarn. Use one color or more, just as you like.
If you purchase the pattern, start knitting and (which I don't hope) get to a point where you don't know how to go on, my contact info is in the pattern. I am always happy to help. Please bear in mind that I sometimes need to sleep and don't spend all day on the internet. But I check my mails every day.
