crochet a large shawl/stole in warm shades of desert sand
e.g. with alpaca wool.

You can find the heat of the sun and the special color of a desert in the fashion shade Dark corn-yellow/Curry or Mustard. Discover the “perforated” crocheted elements like resistant flower petals in a barren landscape.
As well find the lace edging “Volant” like slight wave motions of wind and
tracks in the sand and not least the lace trimming “Pebble”…
like little pebbles on the edge of a sandy desert.

An amazing large shawl in a single solid color.
Simple…impressive…as the desert itself…

Both kinds of lace trimming – Volant & Pebble - are always fittable,
so it´s your choice to find a suitable wool if you don´t want to crochet with Alpaca fiber.
Due to given repeats you can resize your "Desert Flower" in width and length of course.
In addition to written pattern you find charts for the main part and edging & pics too.
The pattern is meditative and easy to crochet.
