Scandinavian people say “God jul” in holy time, as well as “Merry Christmas” or “Frohe Weihnachten” in Germany.
This doily has been crocheted in the old-fashioned Filet technique.
Very popular in the 1970th. So…time to fresh up this amazing crochet-art.

Width / diagonal after blocking: approx. 90 cm (35.4”), suitable for many dining tables. Slightly thinner/ thicker yarn, and/or smaller / larger hook, will create other sizes of course, so you can work e.g. with thin crochet cotton size 10 to get a small Hardanger star on your table.
