Perla is a triangle shaped shawl worked top down, starting with a garter tab and increasing in every second row. A photo tutorial explains how to place the beads.
Difficulty level: easy (basic shawl construction, easy lace stitches, beading)
Gauge: 18 stitches/36 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm/4in.
150 x 55cm (60 x 22in). This is the size of my sample. The shawl can be worked to any desired size.
Yarn: Wollgarnspinnerei Ferner Lace handgefärbt (100% Merino wool, 499m/100g; 546yds/3.53oz), 1 skein. Sample in size 150 x 55cm (60 x 22in) used 354m (387yds).
Needles: 4mm/US 6. You also need a crochet hook small enough to fit through the opening of the beads.
Notions: yarn needle, beads, 1 stitch marker (optional)
