Skills Required / What You'll Receive

With a purchase you will receive a comprehensive 10-page PDF consisting of crochet stitch charts/diagrams, written instructions, small workshops and many helping photos that will guide you step by step through the instructions to a beautiful result.
In addition to the purchase, you can download a PDF with advent numbers in round shape and purist colors. Simply print (100%), glue to cardstock, cut out and hole punch. Ready to attach.

Both PDFs are in landscape format.
If your printer does not print this format automatically, please set it manually.

Skill-Level: Easy-Intermediate, meaning you should have previous knowledge of crochet and be able to crochet in rounds (for the wall), oval rounds (for the floor/bottom) and Front Post Stitches.
A little knowledge of embroidery would also be helpful; but is explained in the instructions.
Terminology: EU/US-American terms

Size Information

A house becomes here with the Icelandic new wool approx. 6 x12 cm - 2.4 x 4.7” (w/h) large. In the thicker cotton, e.g. Scheepjes Cahlista about 0.5 mm – 0.02” larger
Note: Other yarn and/or other crochet hooks can of course change the size and appearance of your gingerbread house accordingly.

Materials List

• Yarn: (Ad not commissioned): Icelandic virgin wool is perfect for the Nordic "hygge" look … but normal felting wool with same yardage is also possible
Here: Istex Létt-Lopi / Lopi Lite Léttlopi & Álafosslopi

• Usage: 50g Létt-Lopi is enough for about 4-5 houses; 100g Álafosslopi (snow) is enough for about 33 houses; or 50g Scheepjes Cahlista is enough for about 4 houses.

• Hooks: EU Nr.3 - US C/2 & EU Nr.4 - US G/

• Yarn (brands, yardages, colors) are please refer to the shopping list/crochet pattern of the purchased PDF, as well as other materials.
